Student and Family Discipleship
Our Student Ministry consists of students from 6th-12th grade. We meet in our gymnasium from 6:30pm-7:45pm on Wednesday nights for games and Bible study and at 9:15 on Sunday morning for Sunday School! My goal is to challenge students with truths from God’s Word and give them tools for growing and defending their faith. Colossians 2:7 says that we are to be “rooted and built up in Him.” It is my heart’s desire that our students will know God’s truth and will be trained to not depart from it when they are older as Proverbs 22:6 says. I also know in this chaotic world that is full of distractions and mixed messaging that it is easy for students to lose sight of the message from God’s Word. Ephesians 6:4 tells us that fathers are to bring up children “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” That is why I invite parents to learn and grow along with the students, and I strive to partner with parents in training up their children. Parents are given resources to extend the discussion at home and be active in discipling their students.
