In Worship
We believe that genuine worship of God is the result of experiencing the greatness of God and recognizing the many ways that God expresses his steadfast love and faithfulness to us. The Bible is essential to knowing and understanding all of this! So we focus our worship on truths from the Word of God.
We open each worship service with a Call to Worship from the Bible. We sing congregational songs that are full of truths found in the Bible. We read God’s Word together. We pray together as a church family in accordance with God’s Word. We hear God’s Word proclaimed unapologetically from the pulpit in expositional sermons. In short, we rely on truths from God’s Word to guide us in every aspect of worship.
Psalm 150:1
“Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!”
You will also find that our worship centers on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
As God’s Son, He has gloriously fulfilled all the righteous requirements of God’s law, and He showed his great love for us by dying in our place so that we might have forgiveness of sins!
We celebrate this Good News week in and week out because it is the greatest news that the world has ever known!
